RAJA AMPAT TRAVEL DIARY (updated April 2016)

Here our first post in English. Please be kind with us and feel free to correct us :-)    

General info on Raja Ampat: 

1. www.stayrajaampat.com  - general info + guesthouses 

2. On the island there is nothing else than the guesthouses: bring all what you need, that means repellents and sunscreen. Water and food are provided. 

3. It is expensive, but staying there 5 days is affordable for all travellers we met, so far. Please consider that prices include loads of food. If you don't participate in the trips, you do not have any other expenses.  Please, take into account that if you have a special diet they can cook what you want for you BUT they need to go to Waisai to buy food. This implies higher costs for them and more sea pollution.

Hi there from our bamboo hut on the beach! Updates They will be posted online once we go back to civilization. The flights were pleasant, since we both like flying, with the exception of the very small seat for Matteo, poor thing.

 

DIARIO DI VIAGGIO : RAJA AMPAT (aggiornamento Aprile 2016)

Ecco gli aggiornamenti direttamente dalla nostra capanna di bambù a bordo spiaggia, che ovviamente posteremo appena tornati alla civiltà.

I voli sono stati come sempre piacevoli, siccome ad entrambi piace volare, ad eccezione del posti a sedere piccolissimi per Matteo, poverino. 

Primo volo da Melbourne a Kuala Lumpur abbiamo più o meno dormito con la nostra amata Airasia. Poi lo stopover a Kuala Lumpur di sole 6 ore che ci sono passate abbastanza velocemente. Questo aeroporto è un po’ asettico e senza troppa vita, però si può dormire per terra il che gli fa guadagnare tanti punti.

 

 

Il bello di riuscire ancora a meravigliarsi

La nostra nuova meta è stata suggerita da una collega di Silvia molti mesi fa e ha suscitato da subito la curiosità in lei e pure l' ambizione di raggiungerla. E' un posto poco conosciuto, se non nel mondo dei divers, forse per essere indicata solo parzialmente su Google maps e per i suoi costi proibitivi.

 

Come avete visto nel cartone animato di qualche post fa, è grazie alle nostre ricerche se fra due giorni raggiungeremo il sogno di Raja Ampat. (Vi cosigliamo di guardare su Internet la bellezza del posto)
