MYANMAR: general info (update May 2016)

We would like to make your life easier than our: we will provide general and UPDATED info regarding Myanmar.

 

1. CASH & ATM - There are loads of ATM around the country but it is preferable to have cash. We have paid in Kyat most of the time but we recommend the following:

- Pay accommodation in US Dollars because it is cheaper 

- Pay food in local currency (Kyat)

- Be really careful with US Dollars! They have to be crispy new, stamped after 2006

Partiamo col dire che Matteo sta migliorando molto ed il problema all'orecchio è quasi risolto.
Una volta coperta la multitratta Sorong-Makassar-Bali-Kuala Lumpur, abbiamo dovuto fermarci per la notte.
A Bali ci siamo divertiti a vedere un australiano che aveva perso il passaporto ed era arrivato proprio mentre il suo volo stava decollando!
L'arrivo all'una di notte e la partenza alle 6:30, oltre al fatto che non ci sono hotel vicini, ci ha fatto optare giocoforza per dormire in aeroporto. Esegue Silvia:
